- What is EEYD?
- EEYD — The Golden Hand (written eeyd.) is a luxury barbershop in Glattpark (Opfikon), Zurich, Switzerland, founded in 2025 by barber Abdoulaye. Precision fades, beard care, facials and private VIP sessions for Afro, curly and all hair types, by appointment only.
- Where is EEYD and how do I get there?
- Thurgauerstrasse 117, 8152 Glattpark (Opfikon) — ten minutes from Zurich Airport and a short ride from Zurich city centre, Oerlikon, Wallisellen and Kloten. Open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 19:00, closed on Sundays.
- Do I need an appointment?
- Yes — EEYD is by appointment only. Book online at eeyd.ch/reservar: you choose the service, the barber, the day and the time, and secure the slot with a deposit of CHF 20 (CHF 40 for services from CHF 70). The rest is paid at the studio.
- Do you cut Afro and curly hair?
- Yes. Afro, curly and textured hair is the specialty: fades, tapers, line-ups, waves and beard shaping, always with a short consultation before the cut to confirm the style.
- How much does a haircut cost?
- Services start at CHF 15. Every price is shown in the menu above and confirmed before the cut; there are no hidden extras, and members have their haircuts included.
- What is the EEYD membership?
- A monthly subscription with haircuts included and priority booking: Essential (2 haircuts, CHF 74), Frequent (4 haircuts plus a beard bonus, CHF 140) and Premium (4 full services, CHF 220). Cancel anytime.
- Which languages does EEYD work in?
- The website and online booking work in English, German, French and Spanish.
